My name is Alyssa Beth. I was born and raised in East Texas and live in Canterbury, Kent, UK with my husband, Taylor. I have worked as a web and graphic designer for a small company since 2012, and work remotely from home updating websites, creating advertisements and managing social media. Taylor is currently working on his PhD on ethics through the Biblical teachings of Paul.
I enjoy anything that keeps a creative mind active. My go-to is photography and painting. My favorite sport is rearranging the furniture in the living room. I love writing short essay pieces about my thoughts of general life, the issues of a being a woman and friendship. You’ll also find many a blurry cellphone photo-filled posts about our adventures traveling the UK and abroad.
I’m an introvert with all my heart. A good latte, a cheap bottle of wine and Netflix, mostly The Office or X-Files, can fill my evenings and I’m good to go. I can go days without talking to you and be completely fine. Small talk bores me, so I don’t participate in it, but absolutely want to get to know you for you.
When I’m not blogging or working my day job, you can find me making fun of myself on Snapchat and Twitter, being hipster on Instagram, usually while hanging out at a coffee shop with my husband. Let’s get to know each other!

Hey, nice blog! I really like your header image… You really do write very well (for a Langford at least, ha)!
Multimedia Publishing sounds like a fun major. I graduated with a Marketing degree, but took as many multimedia classes as I possibly could.
I’m also big into graphic design (I work for Bing Web Design). It’s like we’re related or something…

I really liked the website though! And I really like the work you all have done.
I love web design and graphic design so much! Last semester I created my own website just from the little I know about it. The coding is a mess but it was fun to create…um you can look at it if you want…alyssabeth//designs

yeah i know…i’ve heard so much about macs… i just didn’t get into the apple fad even though i’d like to. i don’t even have an ipod. lol
but i’m proud of my xps 🙂 my mom got it for me as a grad. present so it’s defintely better than nothing!
